Continue walking down Westway Road to 67 Westway, built in the Queen Anne style by Captain Sherwood's son, Simon Couch Sherwood, in 1884. Its decorative half -timbering turrets, crockets, and gables were supposed to evoke a romantic castle in far -off England, definitely not the kind of architecture that would have appealed to Sherwood's practical sea captain father.
